Born in Cali, Colombia. South America in 1944.Lived most of his teen years between Barranquilla, San Andres, Bogota and Cali, where he was first introduced to the arts; assisting different schools with some of the most renowned Colombian artists during the La Cueva years in Barranquilla, Colombia.Nowadays, he is dedicated to oil painting producing a vast array of creations where his imagination has no boundaries.He has always been ahead of the times...His new collection of paintings bring an incredible display of colors, strength and imagination characteristic of all his creations.his abstract style shows a journey thru his roots, art learnt from La Cueva', "his colors and the maturity of 50 years experience. Recent Exhibits2010 - 2011 Creator & Founder of the project Art to the Rescue - Arte al Rescate from Donación Colombia.2010 - Developed the Foundation DonacionColombia.com to showcase Art from a wide range of artists worldwide, with the purpose of helping his country of birth Colombia, and to contribute with the victims of the winter floods.He created an Auction called: Art to the Rescue.An open call to all Colombian artists as well as foreigners to participate by donating their artwork in favor of this Cause that so much afflicts the victims of this continued Disaster in Colombia.2007 - Participant in the project Reconciliation, Contest for all Colombian artists and organized by the Corona Foundation of Colombia together with the Colombian office of the Vice Presidents . 2006 - 2007 Colombian Consulate in Miami, Florida - Virtual Gallery.2000 - 2006 Dedicated to work at his Miami Studio designing a collection of Sculptures in Marble, Granite and Wood.1990 - 1997 Created Sculptures for the Oriental market.Sold his artworks for some of the new buildings in the South of China and to Private collectors in Bangkok, Guangzhou, Guandong Province, Panyu City, Hong Kong and Philippines.1986 - 1995 Created an specific line of Jewelry with miniature Sculptures that revolutionized the jewelry industry in 24 carat gold for the oriental market together with renowned jewelry designer - manufacturers based in Hong Kong.During the 80's made Jewelry collections with Emeralds and other precious stones aimed at the European market. Beginning here his incursion in the graphical arts with 3D Cad Cam.Opened a stone cutting factory dedicated to Modern Cuts for precious stones in Bangkok, Thailand; where many new cutting designs for modern jewelry were created.1960 - 1970 Made designs for well known Rock artists from his Jewelry shop named Gold Factory located in Sunny Isles Boulevard, FloridaHe owned an Art Gallery next door, where he taught young artists recently graduated from Gainesville University: The Art of finding the Inner Artist within you. An introspection of the artist's own mental and emotional processes when defining which type of Art most sincerely reflects his or her artistic personality.
